6.2 Obtaining Support

There are various ways of obtaining support for Voyager.

6.21 Via a Vapor Web Site

There are two web sites where you will be able to obtain support for Voyager. The official Vapor web site and its mirrors:

www.vapor.com [main site]
www.uk.vapor.com [United Kingdom mirrored site]
www.de.vapor.com [German mirrored site]
www.au.vapor.com [Australian mirrored site]
www.fr.vapor.com [French mirrored site]

If you go into the /products/voyager section you will be able to find the latest information about Voyager, new updates etc.

There will a new section on the excellent AmigaWorld site within the next few weeks (most likely within the /support/voyager drawer). This site will contain supporting software such as transfer animations, replacement buttons, datatypes etc. Keep an eye on the AmigaWorld for more information.

6.22 Via the Vapor FTP Site

You can use the Vaporware FTP site to download your Voyager updates and other Vaporware software. Remember that Voyager-NG now supports full internal FTP access.

ftp.vapor.com [Main Vaporware FTP site]

6.23 Via the Voyager Mailing List

There are a number of mailing lists which provide a forum for discussing issues regarding the various Vaporware products. To get help about using a listserver, write to listserv@vapor.com and put the word HELP in the body of the message (subject is ignored).

The listserver you will be interested in joining is the Voyager mailing list.

Mail to: voyager-request@vapor.com

To subscribe, put ADD in the body as shown below.

Press send mail and the message will be sent to the Voyager mailing list. When you are connected you will receive an automatic mail which informs you that you are connected.

To send a message to the Voyager mailing list post a message to voyager@vapor.com and it will be received by everyone else on this list.

6.24 Obtaining Installer Support

It is advisable to use the very latest installer (click to download) program, available from the Aminet, when installing Voyager.

If you have any problem with the Voyager installation or any suggestions you would like to make about the installation process, contact Robert C. Reiswig&nsbp; as soon as possible. Please send a copy of the installation Log File where available.

For further information see www.best/com/~vgr/vapor.

6.25 Obtaining Documentation Support

If you have any problems, suggestions or comments to make about the Voyager documentation, send an email to Chris Wiles as soon as possible. Remember to check the Vaporware web site for documentation updates before you send your email.
